Sunday Stash (... on Monday, ooops)

I think you all know how much I love, no, LOOOOOVE fabric and I think I need to get into the habit of sharing more of my fabric with you, well pictures of my fabric, of course, duh.

So here is a little random selection of the fabrics I found at the Festival of Quilts.

I am currently trying to get Heather Ross's "Far Far Away 2" but am really struggling to find them in the UK. I bought a few FQs off Katy from I'm a ginger monkey but was hoping to find the darker greys and purples too. If anyone has a suggestion where I could find them in the UK (can't bear waiting for up to 6 weeks for a package and pay horrendous customs charges) I would love you forever.

These are the ones I have.

Love, Nadine

  1. Have you tried Etsy? I know it's not very pro British but I'm buying more and more of my fabric on Etsy from the US because even with additional shipping charges it still works out cheaper than a lot of places in the UK and of course there is much more choice!

  2. Etsy is great. I absolutely love etsy, but ti is also treacherous and permanently after my money. But I just can't deal with the wait. Irrespective of size or value, some packages arrive within a week and then some take up to 6 weeks and then you have to pay a huge customs charge on top. You are right, and I have been complaining about his for ages, there is more choice and better prices in the US but I prefer buying from a seller in the UK if I can, so I know I'll have the package within a few days. (and I know I can chase them up if the package gets lost. with sellers on etsy I am never sure.)
