Phewww, 9 more finished quilts (Fresh Sewing Day)

Hello all,
soooo sorry for the neglect, but it's been a bit crazy here. We are in the process of buying a house, our first house, and it is stressing me out so much. I can barely sleep at night. everythign was going well (with a pretty difficult seller mind you) until she decided she wanted to postpone the sale for 3 to 6 months. This completely threw us, we have already invested £1500 in fees, surveys etc and as first time buyers we just can't afford to lose that money, so it's a bit of a waiting game now. Well, anyway it has been stressful. And what do I do when I am stressed out? I quilt.

So tada, I have finished 9 quilting projects (plus 3 cushions, which I will show you in another post). I hope you like these. They are all in the shop and I am currently working on my first advent calendars. I want to get them ready in good time before people start buying holiday items.

But here are the quilts. Let me know what you think. And go and check out the other lovely projects on the Fresh Sewing Day post on Lily's Quilts.

Lots of love,
Nadine

  1. Saw your quilts on Flickr and you have such a wonderful sense of colour/design I managed to track down your blog! I particularly like the top one with the little touches of b/w prints and the comma fabric and grey one. Fabulous :)

  2. Also saw you on Flickr and added you as a contact :) Love all your quilts and your Comma fabric one gave me ideas for my own using this fabric.

Buying and/or selling a house is SO stressful!! We have owned 3 different houses in 3 different states within the last 15 years and it's really a pain!! I can empathize with you. I think that was a pretty dirty deal for the lady to delay the sale for that long. Hopefully your realtor negotiated something better for you.
